Create an info-graphic that provides information on an important social issue.

This poster is meant to educate, provoke, and elicit change, ultimately calling for the end of Charleston as a major port city. The facts and figures represented here are meant to show the imbalance in positive versus negative effects of cruise ships on port cities. The reflection illustration demonstrates the idea of a hidden truth that lies under the surface.

Designing to help others speak.

I chose a gardening project, “The Garden of Eden”, founded by a local disabled veteran, and created a brochure intended to promote the goals of the project: healthy eating, community participation, and gardening as a form of therapy. In designing the brochure, I used a military theme combined with organic colors and even included a packet of seeds to be planted by the viewer - the "seeds of change", if you will. In addition to the mailable brochure, I created “born & raised” stickers for use on the fruits and vegetables grown in the Garden of Eden.

Child Trafficking Postcards

Social Awareness

Graphic Design

To promote awareness and prevention of child trafficking.

I created postcards that could be mailed to families, specifically parents, within the United States, who most likely would have little to no knowledge of child trafficking. To connect with viewers, I used images of different genders and races. The front imagery, partially hidden behind text, represents a repressed, imprisoned child whose story can be found on the reverse side of the card.
